Subaru VIP Educator Program Overview

Available for eligible PreK-12 educators, the Subaru VIP Educator Program allows eligible shoppers to receive $500 off the purchase or lease of a new Subaru vehicle after negotiating their best price. As a bonus, any applicable local or regional incentives will be added on top for additional savings without any hassle.

How to Apply for the Subaru VIP Educator Program

Before your first contact with a Sarasota Subaru sales representative, you must access the Subaru VIP Educator Program Request Form and confirm eligibility using ID.me verification. Most applications are processed immediately, with some taking up to three business days to process if additional information is required.

Once you've received your VIP Authorization, you can contact us to begin working with one of our Subaru VIP Specialists. We'll guide you through the purchase process, help you browse available models, and place a factory order if we can't locate your preferred configuration.

Who is Eligible for the Subaru VIP Educator Program?

Most PreK-12 teachers, administrators, and faculty are deemed eligible participants of the Subaru VIP Educator Program. Examples of eligible positions include:

  • Classroom Educators, such as Certified Teachers, Certified Educational Assistants, Substitute Teachers, Teaching Interns, Certified Aides, Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Teachers, Special Ed Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Lecturers, Instructors, and Specialized Teachers.
  • Administrative Professionals, such as Principals, Vice Principals, Assistant Principals, Headmasters, Superintendents, and Assistant Superintendents.
  • Essential School Faculty, such as Child Development Staff, Head Start Teachers, Librarians, Guidance Counselors, Psychologists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, School Nurses, and those who work in Office, Cafeteria, Maintenance, or IT positions.

In addition, the Subaru VIP Educator Program extends to the spouse or domestic partner of an eligible participant who lives in the same household. All participants must reside in the United States. Friends and other family members, such as parents or dependents, are not eligible participants.

Which New Subaru Models Can Be Purchased or Leased?

Almost every new Subaru model is available with the Subaru VIP Educator Program, except select trims of the Subaru WRX and Subaru BRZ. For additional information, please refer to the Subaru VIP Program Information page.
