Sarasota Subaru Loves John Hopkin's All Children's Hospital in Sarasota Florida - AMY F
When children need care, Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital pediatricians, pediatric specialists, nurses, therapists and staff provide some of the most frequently needed medical, laboratory and therapeutic services at their Outpatient Care Center in Sarasota. Their compassionate team has years of experience in meeting the medical and rehabilitative needs of children of all ages, bringing expert pediatric care to our neighborhood through their 28,000-square-foot facility, which serves patients from Sarasota County, as well as neighboring counties such as Manatee, DeSoto, Charlotte and beyond. Sarasota Subaru has proudly supported Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital's Sarasota Outpatient Care facility for many years by and through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative in partnership with Blood Center United. In June of 2026, Sarasota Subaru presented an Outback FULL of brand new Heart Shaped Pillows and blankets to bring love and joy to their pediatric patient's day.
Sarasota Subaru proudly supports the Safe Children Coalition of Sarasota - AMY F
For decades, the Safe Children Coalition has served as the leading community-based care agency covering Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto counties. Their guiding principles include a focus on child safety, health and well-being. community Involvement, accountability, Resource management. responsiveness, providing trauma informed care, and a single point of entry for serving children and families. Safe Children Coalition is the leading nonprofit community-based care agency for Florida's Circuit 12, covering Sarasota, Manatee, and Desoto counties. They work with community stakeholders to provide care to children and families in the child welfare system and in their prevention programs. Did You Know the Safe Children Coalition served more than 10,000 children last year in foster care, adoptions, and prevention and diversion programs? Sarasota Subaru along with the Subaru Loves to Help and Operation Warm initiative, donated a Forester FULL of brand new children's winter coats in ALL SIZES, to the Sarasota Safe Children Coalition in January of 2026.

The Academy at Glengary and Academy at Bradenton provide a pathway to success, friendship, and careers for adults seeking mental health & wellness. Membership at the Academy provides access to both Sarasota and Bradenton facilities, and features a range of self-directed opportunities based on the 8 Dimensions of Wellness (intellectual, physical, financial, social, emotional, vocational, environmental, and spiritual). Friendship, fulfillment, employment, and fun are all part of the journey. The Academy is honored to be a founding network partner with Fountain House United, a nationwide network established to advance mental health support and recovery solutions through direct services, research and innovation, and policy advocacy. Fountain House opened its doors in 1948 in New York City and is the founder of the Clubhouse Model. The Academy at Glengary maintains a three-year accreditation with Clubhouse International. Sarasota Subaru has been a proud supporter of The Academy at Glengary for many years; for Subaru's Share the Love Event, Sarasota Subaru donated over $21k in 2026, and here's what the Program Coordinator, Billy Elkins, had to say: "It was great to see you yesterday and as William mentioned, we are so grateful for your support and appreciate the generous donation. Please find attached photo from yesterday's check presentation. Thank you again!"
Sarasota Subaru Shares the Love with Academy at Glengary/Bradenton - William M
The Academy at Glengary and Academy at Bradenton are honored to be chosen as the "Hometown Charity" for Sarasota Subaru's annual Share the Love event. This year, the Academy was awarded a very generous donation of $21,875 in support of our mental health wellness and recovery services. This donation is an investment in the lives of Academy members who pursue goals in the 8-Dimensions of Wellness (social, environmental, intellectual, financial, occupational, emotional, physical and spiritual). We would like to express our sincere thanks to Sarasota Subaru and the Subaru foundation for improving the lives of adults pursuing mental health recovery in our local community!
Subaru Love Promise - Blood Cancer United - Gabrielle D
Sarasota Subaru partnered with Blood Cancer United® (formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) this year and Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Out Patient Care Center, Sarasota through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets and messages of hope to cancer patients. On June 17, 2026, Sarasota Subaru personally delivered these items to patients in treatment. We're so grateful for their ongoing support.

Sarasota Subaru Teams Up to Support Local Community - Karen D
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Sarasota, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Sarasota Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Sarasota Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/14/2025, Sarasota Subaru donated 120 shoes/socks to Safe Children Coalition - Schoolhouse Link. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

For the 10th year, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) is partnering with Subaru and its retailers to spread warmth, love, and relief to cancer patients and their families as part of the Subaru Loves to Care®. As part of the monthlong program, Subaru customers and retailers write encouraging messages of hope in-store to accompany cozy blankets—sharing love and warmth with those who need it most. This June, John's Hopkins All Children's Hospital and its staff graciously partnered with local Subaru retailer, Sarasota Subaru to hand deliver blankets to the oncology patients at John's Hopkins All Children's Hospital. LLS is honored to have the opportunity to connect with our community of patients in such a unique and intimate way. It takes a village, and together, we will shine light on the darkness of cancer.

Subaru Love Promise Story – Sarasota Subaru Celebrates Arbor Day On April 19th, Sarasota Subaru proudly celebrated Arbor Day by putting the Subaru Love Promise into action. In partnership with local volunteers and environmental groups, our team helped place 100 trees throughout the Sarasota community—each one a symbol of our commitment to a greener future. The event brought together families, local leaders, and Subaru team members for a day filled with tree planting, eco-friendly activities, and community spirit. From watering to learning about native species, every moment reflected our dedication to caring for the Earth. At Sarasota Subaru, we believe in giving back to the place we call home.
