Why Go Electric with Subaru?
Currently, the Subaru Solterra is the only pure electric vehicle in the lineup, but it offers robust capabilities and features like enhanced ground clearance and standard all-wheel drive to tackle the typical driving needs of a Subaru fan. Electric vehicles also offer conveniences you may have never considered, like no longer needing to stop at fuel stations because most EV owners can plug in and charge overnight at home.

EV Charging Explained
Charging an electric vehicle is as easy as plugging in a smartphone or any other device. While no additional equipment is necessary for a Level I connection, it can be quite slow. Most EV owners choose to install a Level II charger for convenience. However, this is not necessary with the expanding network of public chargers available in our area.
- Level I: Available through any standard wall outlet, the Solterra can regain two to five miles per hour plugged in.
- Level II: Available at home or in public areas, can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in around six hours.
- DC Fast Charging: Only available at public charging stations, allows for the fastest charging speeds possible. The Solterra can go from 10 to 80 percent in just 35 minutes.

Go Further with the Subaru Solterra
The Subaru Solterra has a range of up to 227 miles. While that may not seem like a lot compared to a gas vehicle, the average driver only needs about 30 miles of range daily. For longer commutes, owners can recharge quickly at public charging stations or simply plug in each night and wake up to a fully charged vehicle.
