Space
Leading figures are interchanged between these five-passenger SUVs. The Subaru Forester gives Sarasota, FL travelers plenty of room for belongings with a max cargo volume of 74 cubic feet, compared to 77 cubic feet for the Honda CR-V, which offers less total passenger volume at 104 cubic feet.
The Subaru Forester provides 108 cubic feet throughout the cabin, and the front row comes with two additional inches of legroom. The 43 inches up front for the Subaru Forester lets you and your companion riding shotgun relax en route to an event in Sarasota, FL. The Honda CR-V offers 41 inches in the second row, compared to over 39 inches in the Forester.
Exterior
The full LED headlights for the Honda CR-V are less advanced than the LED Steering Responsive Headlights of the Subaru Forester, which do a better job of helping you see around corners on South Sarasota streets.
Honda's SUV has 7.8 inches of ground clearance, compared with 8.7 to 9.2 inches of ground clearance for the Subaru Forester. The Forester's Wilderness model does a better job of clearing obstacles and handling challenging terrain by providing Yokohama GEOLANDER® all-terrain tires, which the CR-V can't match. Honda has been adding TrailSport off-road models, but the Honda CR-V has yet to offer such a model.
Features
Both SUVs offer moonroofs, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather-trimmed seats, and heated front seats. The Subaru Forester offers heated second row seats to keep passengers in the back warm on the way home to North Sarasota. The Honda CR-V can't match the StarTex® water-repellent upholstery offered by the Subaru Forester on its Wilderness model.
